Honestly, I don’t even really have anything against McCain. But he doesn’t have the conservatives on his side. And no Republican candidate stands a chance of winning if he doesn’t have the conservatives/religious right behind him.
May not sound very nice but sadly it’s true.

This is so true. The conservatives have a huge influence and there is no way they can support McCain, he is very “liberal” in some of his views. I don’t know if I can bring myself to vote for him… but I have to look at my other options as well, and I am not going third party.
