Movie Trailers That Excite Me
Transformers
The original Transformers Movie remains one of my favorite cartoon films ever, nothing in film sparked as much emotion in me as watching Optimus Prime on his death bed and watching Hot Rod’s heroic rise to Rodimus Prime ("You’ve got the touch… You’ve got the power… Yah!"). The thought of Transformers in a live action (albeit heavy CGI) film with what appears to be a focus on a more mature take on one of my favorite child franchise’s is just beyond words. This has the potential to become a new classic.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Another childhood franchise, The Ninja Turtles are taking the big screen again. This film, however, has a greater chance of failure (in my eyes) as it may be a little too kid-friendly (i.e. lame). Regardless the Turtles were my favorite growing up and the trailer lends to believing that this could actually be pretty sweet. I just hope they follow the Transformers and cater to it’s original (now grown-up) audience.
The Last Kiss
Alright, probably not as cool as previously mentioned trailers… and probably one you haven’t even heard of. I actually found this while casually checking out trailers on http://www.apple.com/trailers/. I’ve become a huge fan of Zach Braff after getting addicted to the hilarious show Scrubs and his film (which he wrote, directed, and starred) Garden State revealed that he’s not just a funny man but a fantastic actor. Here’s another movie that attracts me the same way Garden State did, I highly recommend checking out the trailer.
The Fountain
Directed by Darren Aronofsky, the director of Requiem For A Dream. If you’ve seen Requiem then you already know why I’m excited by The Fountain. If you haven’t seen Requiem - go rent it and see what a well-crafted masterpiece in cinematogrophy and film looks like.

Gotta agree with you on the first two, Jesse. I am super-excited about Transformers and TMNT coming out in theatres next year. I hadn’t seen the previews for the other two yet, but I will check them out.
Have you seen the preview for The Prestige, yet? It looks pretty good.

Wow you’re right that’s another great looking trailer. I’m surprised I didn’t know about that one, considering Christopher Nolan is one of my favorite directors.
