“lost emotion”

a seed which planted long ago,
was merely just a smile.
taller, taller it would grow,
embracing now.
blossoming a love to show
at least a little while.
seasons change.
now golden leaves of faded hue,
descend into the sea.
faster, faster out of view,
erasing thou.
such emotions meant for you,
are merely memory.

Sweet!!! I know that it probably has a different meaning than what I got out of it’ But God answers prayers in what we may think is a weird way!

The poetry I write is usually of the more open-ended variety that people take their own interpretation, I’m glad you were able to get something worth while out of it. =)
