Fake Worship
Just saw this linked from To Encourage and Equip.
Worshipers for hire boost Sunday excitement
“Praise God!” he shouts, lifting his hands and prompting others to chime in with “amen” and “glory.”
His infectious enthusiasm is just what the pastor ordered. Kendall isn’t a Christian, but he and hundreds of other people across the U.S. are getting paid as much as $12 an hour by temp placement agencies to pretend to be exuberant worshipers.
You can read the whole article at LarkNews.
I’m not sure if that’s really happening, but if so that’s pretty messed up. If I found out the church I was attending was hiring part-time worshipers I don’t know if I’d really want to keep going there… seems pretty dirty to me.

I agree with you, I would feel weird going to a church that needs to fake worship.
We have THE BEST band at our church. Every sunday is like a rock concert. And to see our drummer, Ray, play is out of this world. He is an amazing site to behold when he rocks out for God. I have rarely seen someone reflect Jesus the way that he does when he uses his gifts. If you are ever in South Florida, you have to stop by Calvary Fellowship. You will not regret it.

F.Y.I. The Lark site is dedicated to Fake News. Th stories are all made up or “embellished” takes of real stories. They’ve been doing this for quite a while.
I love your site though.

Wow this is really messed up… How could you fake such a thing? so out of hand..
The real christians should know when it’s fake, i mean, if u don’t feel God’s prescence when u worship in church.. well, something’s wrong. Cuz when we worship Him you feel so much different, and u guys know it.
So just watch out for those fakes, God’s gonna have a word with them you’ll see.
