Jack freakin’ Bauer
In case you missed the premier last night, I felt I had a duty to share that Jack Bauer killed a guy by taking a giant bite out of his neck, vampire style.
So wrong and so, so awesome.
Jack Bauer is the man.

I’m not sure why, but I have never gotten into 24. I’ve started watching episodes, but never finished…

This is how you described yourself:
“I do my best to follow Jesus’ example by loving God and loving people.”
And then you wrote this post and completely lost me.
You almost made it sound like you really enjoyed the death of someone else and the killer had to be praised.

josue- well first off, it’s entertainment. If you don’t enjoy entertainment that is violent than don’t bother watching it.
But on that same note if you don’t enjoy violence there’s a lot of the bible you might want to stay away from as well – beheadings, death by stoning, crucifixions, a peg being driven into someone’s forehead with a hammer… need I say more?
And if you haven’t seen the show that I’m referring to, Jack killed a terrorist who had him held hostage. This terrorist happened to be part of a group of terrorists who later set off a nuclear bomb in L.A.
Excuse me if this sounds harsh. It’s just that I get deeply offended when people try to throw my faith in my face as if they know my life and can judge me based off of one little statement made. I love my God and His son Jesus and I do my very best to follow Him. I try to love God and love people as he has shown me. Granted I am only human and I often fall short of this and can fall to temptations of the world…
…but watching 24 is not one of these failures.

Touche, Jesse, touche. Long live Jack Bauer and all of his fans! Are you following Heroes, too? The coolest new show on all of TV!
